Phoenix Rising | Calls for Scores

Thank you to all who sent in scores to the 2008 Phoenix Rising’s Harvest Celebration call for scores. To be honest, there were far more quality entries sent in than we could ever hope to prepare in a single concert. Entries were picked on a variety of factors including excellence, theme, variety, tempo, mood and other factors that go into choosing selections for good concert. In the end, we decided upon the following (although we sincerely wish we could program more):

• Justin McKay : God bless the noble turkey (SSA)
• Edward David Zeliff : I am a Poor Wayfaring Stranger (SATB)
